【2026 Summer Masterclass Online Lecture Series: Preview】

Co-hosted by Tsinghua University's Institute of Sinophone Studies and Readc.info Website, the “2026 Summer Masterclass Online Lecture Series” will launch online on a Sunday afternoon in late April.

From “Classical Translation vs. Digital Libraries” to the therapeutic turn of pages in picture books, from embracing classics to illuminating modern life, from cinematic and literary gazes to the technical precipice of “Writing is Coding” that propels writing toward multimodal imagery, and finally returning to approaches for appreciating Taiwanese classical literature alongside the historical echoes of bamboo-branch poems and literary debates.

We've woven this season's themes into a strollable literary trail, inviting professors and writers like Zhang Lizhu, Lin Suzhen, Lin Shuzhen, You Jing, Ping Lu, Lin Haoqiang, Xu Guoneng, and Weng Shengfeng to take turns sharing their insights. We'll also delve into literary awards, unpacking those elusive details from both the judging panel and the writing desk.

Whether you're a teacher preparing lessons, a student racing to finish a thesis or creative work, or simply a friend seeking a moment to breathe deeply amid life's congestion, we welcome you to reserve these afternoons. We won't rush to chase “success” or “techniques.” Instead, we'll hand over time to these masters, allowing reading and writing to gently reposition you in a place of clarity and tenderness.
